WOYWW 190 - Images aplenty

Quick post before DH and I set off to walk the grandkids to school.  Spent last night crafting at my next door neighbours. Her husband is on a business trip for 10 days so I have gone to hers for the past 2 weeks.
Brought some colouring as it is so easy to pack up a few copics and some sheets of images. Here is a peek at what I unpacked when I got home.

The beautiful bird stamp at the bottom left was a RAK from Samantha Healey of Lady Bug Crafts
http://samanthahealey.blogspot.ca/
She had a giveaway on her blog and I was the lucky winner.  It is a La Blanche stamp and is a very easy stamp to use...it stamps so beautifully and evenly! I tried one image in in Memento Black and another in Memento brown.  Little Miss C is dying to try this bird so one image will go over to her house...perhaps we will even colour them together...

Whoops, I see there are a couple of images in there that I coloured at the scrapbook store crop last weekend...guess I hadn't unpacked them yet!!!

I have been a bit remiss in blogging in 2013...hope this post and these images get me back into a better routine. If you are wondering why I am showing you my desk, pop over to Julia's blog
http://stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/ and check out more desks from all over the world! But be sure to leave her some bloggy hugs.

Back again! Oh poor Mary to have a doppelganger like me! Sorry to say I don't know anyone by that name, I grew up in Ontario and sadly never had a sister. Maybe we just both have common faces..... Hugs, Anne x

Gorgeous new stash, and what fun to spend the evening crafting with a friend.

Many thanks for your comment - I have every intention of enjoying myself to the utmost tomorrow at the show - I get out so infrequently that it's a real treat! I've got my list ready (I know I shan't confine myself to that, lol! but have some Christmas money that's just crying out to be spent!!) I'll certainly be doing a post about the show, and am going armed with my camera and 2 newly charged batteries.

I've finished the spoke guards and they are now installed in all their glory on my wheelchair! Have art, will travel! I'll be doing a post about them, too, once I've finished working on the video.

Happy WOYWW,

Oooh . . . lots of lovely colouring-in. I like the way your PB mice are coloured grey instead of brown beneath the lantern! Brilliant idea.

Your coloring is looking great, and I also like the wall of jars/boxes filled with what appears to be embellishments. It's like a mosaic. Blessings!

Hi Maureen

Nothing like a good colouring session to get the creative juices flowing .. .. I love taking a stack of colouring when I visit my Mum.

We sit talking for England whilst I colour.

Looks like you had a very productive time!

Love Jules xx

I've discovered a lady I know through blogging who was living in the UK has moved just 3 miles away from me in Michigan, we've talked on the phone and hope to get together soon to craft. I like you you think I got great bargains, wasn't that your name I saw pulled out on kath's blog for the HA stamps??! That's what I call a bargain, lol!!

Hi Maureen,

I sent you an email as I wasn't sure if I'd get to your desk.... but here I am! Very nicely done coloring. How great to have a neighbor that loves crafting!

Oh, the home front. My realtor tells me that it's a slow time of year -- except for the two places that I was interested in. I'm still trying to sell it myself and just renewed my online ad for another month. The two places that I was interested in had been on the market since July and August! Yikes. I'm hoping it doesn't take me that long. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

On a sad note, my good friend (who taught me to knit) passed away Wednesday. It's been tough for me.

Hugs,
kay
