It's that time again! Time to submit your Christmas card or Christmas project to the Rudolph Days Challenge. One entry per person, and you must limit your other challenge entries for your item to nine, leaving it at a total of ten entries, including our challenge. And...Don't forget to leave a comment on this post!
First up is an order of business. We have a vacant spot on the design team since Linda stepped down. If you would like to be considered, please leave a comment indicating your interest. If there are a lot of applicants, I will just draw a name to keep it fair.
Sam at Whispers Cards has made a gorgeous card for your inspiration. I love the scene she created with the festive wreath hanging on the front door, and all the adorable critters waiting to come in. Lots of wonderful stamping, colouring and fussy cutting here! I hope you will pop over to Sam's blog and leave her some lovely comments for all her hard work and dedication.
I am sorry to say there is no card from yours truly. I can not seem to get organized enough to create cards, since Al has been poorly. As he is stronger again (after his relapse), I do need to get this solved. He is in the midst of an active campaign to change up the dosage amounts, meds themselves and time of day that he takes each type, and that seems to be helping. The heart specialist who oversees these changes says it is so common for heart attack and bypass patients. Some take up to a year to get everything sorted for maximum recovery. He is back on the golf course a couple times a week, using a cart and never carrying his clubs!
Our prize this month is this Sue Wilson Festive Collection, Garland Baubles die.

I am not playing for the prize but enjoy seeing what everyone has made.
I am glad Al is progressing slowly. Hopefully the new meds regime will help. Kate x

Hello, Maureen! Thanks for the update on Al, and I hope he continues to improve with the changes to meds, etc. The golfing should be doing him good as well. Sam's card is adorable! The cute critters are right up my alley! I so appreciate you continuing on with Rudolph Days considering all that you have going on. I will be back later to link up my card. Hard to believe we are at the 6-month mark now and next month will be Christmas in July already! Thanks for the link-up and inspiration!
I would love to be considered for the place on your DT. Christmas is my favourite time of year to craft for and I made Christmas cards all year round! My blog address is - https://craftinghelen.blogspot.com/.

It's not surprising that you are finding it hard to get back in the crafting saddle Maureen but I'm sure it will come in its own time. Great to hear that Al is back on the golf course and I expect that's given him a lot of confidence. Thank you for continuing to run the Rudolph Days challenge. Vicky x
Sam's card is just the cutest ever and I love the sweet, whimsical look. Good for Al as he gains back his strength, and I'm sure you're finally breathing easier too.
Happy Rudolph Day - it's hard to believe we're half way through this year!

Hi Maureen,
Happy Rudolf Days.
So glad to hear AL is doing better now after his relapse.
No wonder you can't craft you have so much going on I don't know how you manage everything including this challenge so thank you so much for all your hard work involved.
Great news that Al is playing Golf again the fresh air and exercise is great healer.
Sorry I am so late with my entry I feel ashamed that you have so much to do and I have very little but still the days go so fast and I can't seem to get motivated lately.
Love Sam's card will pop over and give her some love after this.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L. x

So sorry to hear that Als heart issues are still causing issues. It is so difficult when these bodies don't work as we'd like them to! I had planned to enter the June challenge because I really like that die set... but my body decided it was not waiting any longer for the hip replacement I'd been tiptoeing around for over a year. The good news is that the onery hip is now gone, and I'm slowly building up strength in my bionic replacement. The bad news is that I'm sleeping lots more than I remember from the last hip replacement. I'll blame the pain pills instead of my aging body! In either case, I know that I'll soon be back to normal... or whatever that means for me! (And, I'll continue to pray for your sweetheart to feel back to normal soon, too. When the person we love most in life is hurting, life is so hard! Take care. Kathy A aka myasperations
