February Rudolph Days Challenge

Hi there. Once again, it is time for the Rudolph Days Challenge. Here are the rules for your perusal...

1. The Rudolph Days Challenge will start each month (January to November) on the 25th, and will close at midnight PST, on the last day of that month.
2. The theme is always Anything Goes, as long as it is Christmas.
3. One entry per person and you just need to enter one Christmas card or Christmas project.
4. You may combine your entry with other challenges (maximum of 10 in total).
5. Your card (or Christmas project) should not have been previously posted to your blog. It should be posted to your blog during the current months Rudolph Days Challenge, (between the 25th and last day of the current month)
6. Please link back to or at least mention, the Rudolph Days Challenge.
7. Please leave a comment on the challenge post.
8. The winner will be selected by random draw and announced on the first day of the following month. Prizes will be mailed anywhere in the world.

9. A special draw will be held at the end of the year, in December,  for all those who submitted a card or project every month that year, January to November.

Our design team ladies have been busy creating lots of inspiration for you!

First up is Sue Tossell at Sue's Crafty Corner blog.

Sue has made us a beautiful Winter Scene all done is blues. It is so pretty and dear to my heart as many of you know that my family raised horses. Dad had a wonderful antique sleigh that he brought out into the front garden at Christmas time.  He had a great Santa Suit and stuffed it and made a head up to look like the real old fella! Sue's card has brought me lots of happy memories.

Same has made up this sweet little fellow decorating his tree, into an adorable card. The colouring is spot on. Well done Sam!
I think that snowflake diecut is wonderful...looks like Memory Box to me. I will have to pop over to Sams blog to check on that...hope to see you there!

Sam has made a second card for our inspiration. This one is a really cute card with cute-pie images!
Now, it looks as though these little fellows are called Yeti's, but I tell you that they must be closely related to what we call the Sasquatch. As legend has it, our Sasquatch are much larger, but they are similar.  My kids camp in Sasquatch country and there are big larger than life statues up there, where tourists take photos.

Methinks that Yeti and Sasquatch live in the imagination. Afterall, there is a liitle child left in all of us!
Well done with this very cute and fun card, Sam.

MNy card is another one made with an upcycled image. I saw a package of Candy acne cards at my local thrift shop (charity shop), and since my last name is Kane, I always try to include Candy Canes in my Christmas decorating and in a few cards. So here is my tribute to a twist on my last name. I made 5 cards and even managed to find some snippets of Candy Cane DP.

I triple matted the image and even managed to make one of them a thin mat from a snippet of red glitter paper, The border is just made from snippets I had on hand, and the Happy Christmas was from a Hels Cuppleditch sentiment package.

The inside sentiment is just the inside of the purchased card, matted and attached to my card base. Somehow I have managed to get the photo of the inside looking pink. It is white, I assure you!

The prizes this month are this Woodware Stamp called Noel Splodges
or this Cottage Cutz die called Snowman Cupcake.

Beautiful and very inspirational Christmas creations.

I am trying to get a card ready before the end of this months Rudolph Day but since I hurt my back last weekend on alpine skiing track and now not been able to sit down so it will be a challenge for me.

Hugs,
Eemeli

Lovely inspiration cards again. I especially like the little bear and that beautiful snowflake.
You found a very fitting comment to go inside your candy cane card, so well done on that too. Kate x

I love your candy cane card Maureen! The background paper goes perfectly with that focal image too. I love that you like to send cane cards because of your surname. We have relatives whose surname is Barker, and they always get a card with dogs on it! Vicky x

Looks like we only have 4 days to enter the challenge this month, what with February being such a short month so it's a good thing I made a Christmas card last week when I had some spare time! The DT cards are so beautiful and I love the cute candy candy design of your card Maureen.

Three beautiful cards Mo and your candy canes topper and pretty bp look great, and love Sue's traditional winter scene in that wonderful blue, and then Sam with her two super cuties, and the yetis really made me smile, especially with the fun sentiment. Beautiful work by the DT hard to pick a fav but blue dashing through the snow caught my eye, as well as cuties by Sam, and well the candy cane is rather like mine using toppers is handy when in hurry but I don’t get five made!
Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too.
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x 😊

Hi Mo, I have tried to link my entry but it keeps putting in your URL instead of mine. I have had to give up as I am going out now and not back until late this evening when I will try again. Hopefully it will be in time but if not not to worry. x

Wonderful inspiration from you and the team, Maureen. Your candy cane card is beautiful...and I love that you use candy cane motifs on your Christmas cards because of your last name!! So much fun.
Thank you again for another great Rudolph Days challenge. You are a great help in encouraging me to be making Christmas cards all year long!!
