I have been saving these papers for Glamour Girls birthday card. She has sworn me to secrecy about how old she will be...the clue is in the number of embossed flowers in the pretty vellum papers! lol Good thing that she does not read my blog or I would be in big trouble for that joke...
In keeping with my New Years goal to continue using up stash, both old and new, you might just remember the shabby chic painted Spellbinders Fancy Tag 2 Label I have used. I had a few painted ones leftover and thought it looked good with the floral tones. I am still soldiering on with my quest to use up some of my Prima flowers, so pulled a few of those out too.
I managed to stick to my goal of finishing up the insides of my cards as I make them...and here's the proof...
This was a fun card to make as it was not my traditional colours. It was fun to challenge myself to choose some greens and yellows that suited those pretty butterflies. I enjoyed planning and making this card...even if it did mean I had to cut into some NBUS (never before used stash). Hopefully, Mrs A will enjoy it too!

Wow Maureen, this is absolutely STUNNING! Brilliant use of the parchment and butterflies from Mrs A, with your own lovely touch in the sentiment, flowers etc. and I adore the colours too.

Very nice card!! The vellum paper sounds like it worked very well. Funny how we have our "favorites" in our stashes.
As for your question - yes, I am interested in selling my photo cards. I remember (how long ago was it?) that you suggested I do that. I sent out the Christmas cards to see what kind of response I'd get, kind of testing the waters. Send me an email.

What a gorgeous card. The shabby chic label really fits the card to a tee, just like if you'd planned it that way. That's a great punch you used for the foliage. I think I have that somewhere... If so I need to make sure I use it.

Really lovely. How lucky you are with the beautiful vellum and handmade butterflies by Mrs. A. The b/fly appears to be just pretty as her flowers that she makes. You used the sweet gift amazingly, and I loved the colors. Nice way to use your VOS from last summer too! I thought I recognized the diecut. Loved your inside look too. Gonna have to borrow your goal on this finishing idea. TFS & Hugs

gorgeous! i love the colours; so soft and elegant and the butterfly is beautiful. i made the same goal to finish the insides, but i'm struggling already. lol. after hours of colouring and designing, i've had enough and want to move on. i'll try harder. :)
