I attend a card club that meets up once a month at the local scrapbook store. Although the group is much larger, there are usually only a half dozen of us each time. Participants vary depending on their commitments...it really is a no pressure craft meetup. We take turns designing a card and creating kits for the others. It really can be a lot of fun.
We made Tattered Lace die cut baby cards and our "teacher" kindly cut a pink and a blue one for each of us. I decided to use them as toppers once I was home.
I cut the embossed blue card front down, matted it and placed that topper onto a snippet of coordinating DP. I believe the EF used was called Dotted Swiss. The baby buggy was cut from the resulting snippet of the blue cardstock. The sentiment is a rub on from my stash. I think it was originally part of a kit from the crafts only dollar store near my old house. It is several years old to felt good to use it!
I toyed with the idea of adding two large rhinestones to the center of the wheels. On second thought, I decided it would make the card to thick to mail at regular postage. Decided to shelve that idea till I knew whether this was to be a hand delivered card or one that required mailing!
A very simple card but one that lets the beauty of those Tattered Lace dies shine through.
I am entering this card in the following challenge.
1. Pixies Crafty Workshop - must use snippets.

I keep seeing this wonderful TL die on some of the sales fliers that come into my email. How pretty it made up on your lovely card. The delicate embossing on the blue background lets this gorgeous baby carriage take center stage, and the background paper is so pretty as well. What fun you had in your group, and still had some goodies to bring home to make this lovely card. TFS & Hugs.
