Christmas Card Club -Two Or More Patterned Papers

This fortnights Christmas Card Club theme of two or more patterned papers was chosen by GranMargaret. This is a lovely challenge for me, as I usually use two PP on my Christmas cards.

I decided to go for a trio of DP and first adhered it to a thin white cardstock mat.  I then embosssed that trio with a diamond designed  EF.  I framed that trio with a dark brown textured card mat just to make it stand out a bit on the scalloped card base.

The decoupaged image is another from that Wellington Bear card kit I bought just before Christmas. Matted that assembled image with a brown circle using my Spellbinders petite circle die. The crimson damask embossed card matted with brown card was already assembled in my stash, and it was just a matter of sorting through my snippets to find the green dotted swiss embossed card and the snippet of red metallic ribbon. Even the matted sentiment  was already in my stash...left overs from another project.

Final step was a random wash of stickles, just to give a wee sparkle here and there...

Recipe:
Scalloped card and envelope - from my stash (gift from an English friend)
Card stock - snippets of brown, crimson, green and white from my stash
DP - trio of Wellington Bear DP from my Wellington Bear card kit
Embossing folders -Dotted Swiss, Damask, and Diamond
Punches - Stampin Up Oval and scalloped oval
Dies - Spellbinders petite circle
Image - Wellington Bear decoupage (from their card kit)
Bling - Stickles Stardust
Ribbon - snippet of leftover red metallic ribbon from my stash (dollar store leftovers)

I am entering this card in the following challenge:
1. Christmas Card Club - 2 or more patterned papers
2. Pixies Crafty Workshop - must use snippets
