Sorry that I am so late posting the winner this month. I usually stay up till midnight and do the draw at that time. But, sometimes I just can not stay awake that long! Yesyterday was my tests and appointment with a breast surgeon regarding the painfulo lumpy areas in my breeast. It has grown in the past couple of weeks so I was really nervous. My mamagram and ultrasound showed no cancer found! It was cysts as I had originally suspected. So, it is another round of antibiotics and no caffine or aspertame of any sort for 3-4 months. No coffee, tea, pop, or chocolate! A small price to pay for such good news. But after well over 3 hours at the hospital, I went to bed at 10 pm...midnight was too far away!!!
We had 44 fabulous entries. I have visited everyone and really enjoyed your cards. I think there was only one person where I could not see a way to leave a comment. I am sorry about that...not quite sure why it did not let me.
As always, I have used random org to choose our winner. The lucky number is #4, Sandra.
Sandra, could you drop me an email to maureenkane@telus.net and let me know your mailing address.
Oh hurrah, Maureen! So glad you finally got the evaluation & it was good news! Hoping the antibiotics work this time. Congrats to the winner!

Congratulations to the winner. I'm so relieved to hear that your tests showed it was not cancer, although going without coffee and chocolate can be quite the ordeal, haha! Hope that your antibiotics take care of the problem this time around and that it doesn't continue to plague you. You deserve a little break after all this.

Congratulations Sandra! And, I am so happy for you that it was just cysts. Now I hope you can rest better knowing you don't have the big C to deal with. I know from experience how frustrating and life changing it can be when you get that diagnosis.Take care and those months will go by fast and before you know it you can enjoy your caffeine coffee and chocolate again.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that your results were clear..Sorry
ReplyDeleteI did not get to play in May. The good intention was there in spirit.will try harder for June.hugs Mrs A.
I'm so sorry to hear you've had to deal with another scare, Mo, but delighted that they found no cancer! I can imagine the time involved, the tests they do, and anxiety of it all take a huge toll on you. I'm sorry you have to temporarily restrict things you enjoy, but as you say, it's a small price to pay! I hope things are otherwise going well and now you can relax and go about your life with joy back in your step! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteDelighted to hear the good new Mo! No caffeine coffee and chocolate is a small price to pay for sure. And congrats to Sandra as well!!
