I had a few ask me to show the Red Truck Christmas decor theme that we used for Christmas Supper 2018.
Here is a long shot of the dining table. Now I know that paper napkins are not usual for a fancy feast, but these were so perfect for our theme, that we threw caution to the wind.
Here is a side view that shows the centerpiece better...it also shows the gorgeous Wexford glass that my daughter collects. She has a dozen of each size glass and numerous serving pieces as well as a beautiful punch bowl set. We all comb the thrift shops for this pattern for her!
The red truck centerpiece is sitting on a white heavy felt snowflake from the dollar store. We also used smaller, thicker left snowflakes for coasters under the water glasses.
I added stickers from Target to the Christmas crackers...
And finally, here is a shot of the place cards I made with an Impression Obsession die...
If we could have managed to slide a wee red truck into the table favours, we would have! They are the wee glass baubles with the single tree and snow in them in the foreground of the photo above.
The silver snowflakes are salt and pepper shakers and seemed to tie in with the coasters etc.
Christmas Supper was at my youngest daughters house this year. She also had a gorgeous light up red truck and tree picture hung in the dining area. It looked fabulous! But I forgot to take a photo.
I nearly posted the names tags and the crackers as my inspiration for the Rudolph Days Challenge this month as you do not have to submit a card. It can be any Christmas project.
You have several days to still enter the challenge so hope to see you there.
Wow!! Such gorgeous and unique table decoration!!

What a beautifully set table Mo and I love the truck theme, and all the handcrafted accessories, well one it really makes the Christmas table special, Kate x
ReplyDeleteYou do set a beautiful table. I used to go all out for holidays too but with the family expanding and me without an automatic dish washer we opted to go with our favorite china....decorated paper plates. The family doesn't mind and so I go along with the idea. There still is a lot of dishes to wash by hand. I never did have an automatic dishwasher and I doubt I ever will. LOL And I wish you the best on your surgery as well. Heal fast!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic!
