It with a heavy heart that I am announcing that the January Rudolph Days Challenge is cancelled this year.
The Rudolph Days Challenge will resume February 25th, 2019.
I am having a total knee replacement tomorrow morning and I am fretting about how to resolve problems that often pop up during the challenge dates. Things like duplicate entries that need removed from Mr., Linky etc.
The challenge will return February 25, 2019.
So sorry for the inconvenience and late notice. I just made this decision this morning after talking with a friend who recently had the same surgery She reminded me that my job is to recover, and that should be the only thing I put my energies too for the first month.
See you all in February!
Hi Mo - the most important thing is for you to recover so don't fret about Rudolph Day! I hope all goes well with your op and make sure you take time to recover.

Smart decision, Maureen. We'll all still be here ready for February! Knee replacements require a lot of attention to the painful but very necessary rehab for a great result! You'll be in my thoughts!
ReplyDeleteYour friend gave you excellent advice, it's far more important to concentrate on recovering from your surgery. You don't need to be worrying about anything else just now. Hope it all goes well and wishing you a speedy recovery.

No worries Maureen, you just take good care of yourself! You will be in my prayers and thoughts as you go through this surgery and physical therapy. Wishing you a speedy and easy recovery! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteI think we all I understand Mo, 'you' must come first and I hope all goes well and to plan. I never though I would have to take the break I'm just returning from, but sometimes common sense just has to prevail and we have to listen to our bodies.
ReplyDeleteTake care and sending love.

Your friend is absolutely right. Recovery is your main objective now. And, I hope it is a speedy one and that all will be so much better for you after the healing. Prayers for you dear friend.
ReplyDeleteTaking care of yourself is the most important thing. I will be praying for a successful surgery and an uncomplicated recovery. Hope you are back to normal very soon. Rudolph prob needs some extra time to slim down from too many Christmas goodies, anyway. (I know I do!! lol...) Hugs!
