Upcycled bit of sparkle

Welcome to Day 5 of the November Rudolph Days Challenge. As promised, I have another Christmas card to share.

Remember this tag I upcycled into a Christmas card?

Today's card is the same image, but upcycled from a card this time. Michaels had 6 packs of the tags and cards  in their $1.50 bins. The image has a mat texture...no sheen at all other than the bit of stickles sparkle.

I matted it on a snippet of green card and once again used another snippet of that VOS 12x12 scrapbooking DP. This DP is quite pretty IRL as the red stripes are glittered. The bit of self adhesive silver ribbon is from the dollar store and the red metallic ribbon with the shot of green stitching through it is another VOS item...eons old, in fact. I found it when I organized my room! Proud of myself for remembering to use it as I usually forget to allow a spot for the ribbon, and then I'm stymied! lol

If you have not already entered this months Rudolph Days Challenge, you will find Mr Linky on this post here. I have two Memory Box dies for prizes this month. Details can be found on that same post.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
1. Pixies Crafty Workshop - must use snippets

A very elegant tag, that you made so extra special with the mats & colors and pretty textured ribbons. (and I don't know about learning new techniques..I'm a dabbler. you know, jack of all, master of none?!) Hugs & TFS
