Birds and Birdhouses - Card 27

Here is another one of those 3D sticker bird cards I made while up at the lake. I warned you I was trying to use these stickers up!
Looks like I must be trying to use up the Martha Stewart doilies too...I just realized they are on every sticker card I made! I forgot to bring the die cut circles that were to go behind these stickers, so the doily package was given a good workout! I popped the doily forward on this one, to give it a little depth.

I toyed with the idea of adding a few rhinestones in the top right hand corner of the yellowy gold mat.  Could not decide whether to do 3 in a row (boring I know), or 1 in the middle of that pattern on the top right...what do you think?

Think I should have slid a solid pink circle behind the buttons on the button border, so the buttonholes would look the same!  Amazing how I never notice these things till I look at the photo...Yep...I think I took the photo too fast...this card still needs some TLC!

Card base and envelope - from my stash
DP -  Background musical score is Forever In Time Perfect Prints, the other DP are snippets from my stash
Border - snippet of Daisy Button self adhesive border is most likely K&Co but I am not sure anymore
Doily - Martha Stewart
Stickers - 3D stickers from my stash (originally from the dollar store)
Ink - Igvilde Bohm pink chalk ink

    This is a beautiful card I love anything with birds on, as to your CD dilemma I'm sure if they work on W7 then they should work with W8 if you go over to our freebies page you can download some free to try

    Gorgeous Mo, love the soft colour tones. Hope you're well....we've had sunshine all week....waaayyyy too hot for me lol, thank goodness for my nice cool craft room!

    Oh I love this Mo - and aren't we our own worst critics - it's just perfect as it is without any more tlc (although that did make me giggle 'cos I do the same!).

    This is so pretty Maureen, I love your sweet image and lovely soft colours.
    Your CD's should work absolutely fine on Windows 8 it is just anything before Windows 7 that they will not work on. Just pop one in the CD drive and give it a go, it wont do any harm.

    Hi Maureen, trying to play a bit of catchup this evening, and I am loving this card. Your stickers never look like 'stickers' when you use them on a card, and that doily is perfect. I like your button border, but see what you mean about having something behind it. Looks great to me as it is. I like that dp you have too, and this is a really sweet & pretty card!     Very pretty card.
    I think it looks wonderful as is.
    I also like to use what I have on hand and being at the cottage, we only have what we bring, so we have to improvise ;)
