Today is the Anniversary of our friend Darnell and Mr K at http://www.djkardkreations.com/
Darnell is an outgoing, friendly, caring lady whose blog is filled humour, funny words, gorgeous blooms, great organizational ideas, the twinks, the scrapping playhouse, and much, much, more.
Her cards have a definite style as Darnell loves (and makes) beautiful CAS cards. Cards that are a lot harder to make than they first appear. How do I know this...well, I learned the hard way!
I have a new respect for CAS cards...here is my feeble attempt...I might get disqualified though! Good thing it is not a challenge...teehee
Happy Anniversary Darnell. I hope your day is filled with love and laughter!
Beautiful CAS card scrappymo! I'm with you they are so difficult to get right, the temptation to keep adding things is very difficult to resist! xx

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I love the color combo.
ReplyDeleteHi ya, wow seems like ages since I visited your blog last! Don't why you are not coming up on my reader, but you're not and I forgot to come say Hi!
ReplyDeleteStill I'm here now and have been wandering back over the posts I've missed and admiring your card in this post. I quite agree that CaS is a great style but a hard one to achieve - though I think you've done a perfect card here! Great colours and the embossing gives it a lovely finishing touch.
Hope you, and yours, are well.

Thats a really beutiful CAS card. Nearly finished my mammoth sort/tidy up. Just left with a pile of don't know what to do withs but don't want to throw aways which don't relate to anything else. Spose I could just label up a box The Odds and Ends of Life!!!! Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeletep.s. thanks for your tip of doing a box and a drawer at a time. Worked a treat for me.
Great card Mo. Love the CAS style and the blue is gorgeous..xx
